Role Summary

The Commercial Property Manager oversees the day to day operations of the properties within the commercial portfolio at Old Oak. Focus will be on maintaining and increasing the value of assets and providing the best possible product offering and customer experience. A proactive approach to management is key, as is fostering a positive team-oriented work environment, to ensure a high level of customer and employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Oversee accounts receivable

Prepare verbal and written communication to tenants to address operational issues, memorandums, cyclical activities

Accounts Payable – issue purchase orders as required and verify and approve invoices related to the commercial properties

Hands on marketing, negotiating and leasing of all vacant space

Ensure property services are delivered with the highest level of care

Work closely with Maintenance Operations Manager to ensure all physical components of sites are maintained

Manage and negotiate service contracts

Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors and professionals servicing the property

Establish and maintain excellent customer relations with tenants

Monitor service requests from tenants

Qualifications

Five (5) years experience in property management.

Minimum of three (3) years in commercial property management, including light industrial and office

Applicants with industry designation(s) ie, CPM, RPA, CLO, ACoM will be prefered, although not required

Superior oral and written communication skills

Strong computer skills, Word, Excel, Yardi, Outlook

Strong sales and lease negotiation skills

Ability to remain confident and remain calm in stressful situations

Ability to read and comprehend financial statements

Vehicle required to travel to various sites
