Remembrance Day in London
On Sunday, November 11th, London honours the brave men & women who have served our country and fought for our freedom. At 11am, please take two minutes of silence. During this time of reflection, Canadians pause to honour, thank and remember our Fallen.
2018 marks the 100th year of Armistice ending of World War I. Everyone is invited to attend the London Remembrance Day services. Celebrate and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we may live in the freedom we enjoy today.
The Veterans' parade begins at the Delta Armouries at 10:15 AM, marches Dundas Street to Wellington Street to Dufferin Avenue, arriving at the cenotaph (Wellington St. & Dufferin Ave.) at approximately 10:45 a.m. The ceremony will run until approximately 11:45am.
On Saturday night, November 10, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. there will be a Candle Light Service. Everyone is welcome to attend, meet at the Carillon Bells and march to the Cenotaph for a short service.
Road Closures: Dufferin Ave. will be closed to all traffic from Wellington St. to Picton Street and Wellington Street closed from Dufferin to Wolfe St. while the service takes place.
